• For candidates who are General, OBC, or EWS, the RRB application cost is Rs. 500. After participating in the first stage of the CBT, the sum of Rs. 400 will be reimbursed appropriately, after deducting bank fees.
• Candidates who are SC, ST, ESM, female, EBC, or transgender must pay an application fee of Rs. 250. Following the candidate's appearance in the first stage of the written exam (CBT), the entire application cost of Rs. 250 will be reimbursed.

 NTPC Selection Process:

The "Computer based Aptitude Test (CBAT)/ Typing Skill Test (TST), where applicable," will come after the two-stage Computer Based Tests (CBTs).

• Computer-based aptitude tests for station masters and typing proficiency tests for junior account assistants and senior clerks who double as typewriters.

• There will be a two-stage CBT for the position of Senior Commercial/Ticket Supervisor or Goods Train Manager, followed by a medical examination and document verification.

 RRB NTPC Exam Syllabus 2024:

Mathematics:

Time and Work, Time and Distance, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportions, Percentage, Mensuration, and Number System Profit and loss, elementary algebra, geometry and trigonometry, simple and compound interest, elementary statistics, etc.

Reasoning and General Intelligence:

Mathematical operations, coding and decoding, analogies, finishing numerical and alphabetical series, similarities and differences, relationships, Decision-making, maps, graph interpretation, syllogism, jumbling, Venn diagrams, puzzles, data sufficiency, statements of conclusion and courses of action, and analytical reasoning, among other things.

Awareness in general:

Sports and Games, Indian Literature, Art and Culture, Monuments and Places of India, Current Events of National and International Importance, General Science, and Life Science (up to 10th CBSE), India's history and the fight for freedom India's and the world's physical, social, and economic geography General Scientific and Technological Developments, including India's Space and Nuclear Program, the United Nations and other significant international organizations, environmental issues affecting India and the world at large, the fundamentals of computers and computer applications, common abbreviations, India's transportation systems, its economy, well-known Indian and international figures, flagship government programs, India's flora and fauna, vital government and public sector organizations, etc.

2024 RRB NTPC Graduate Level Typing Proficiency Exam:

• For the positions of Junior Accounts Assistant/Typist and Senior Clerk/Typist.
• Eight times as many candidates as there are openings in each community will be sought for the Typing Skill Test (TST), which is of a qualifying character (marks earned in the test will not be added to determine merit).
• Without editing software or a spell checker, candidates should be able to write 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on a personal computer.
• The Kruti Dev and Mangal fonts will be made available for the Hindi typing proficiency test on personal computers as instructions for people who take the test.
